This is a local criminal court system where there are 10 jurors that all must decide either guilt or not. If there is no unamourous decision within 14 days of the hearing’s conclusion, then the jury is a hung jury, and the prosecutor can decide if they wish to try the defendant again. If all jurors decide not guilty, then the defendant is not guilty, and the prosecutor can not pursue the defendant with the same charges again. If all jurors decide that the defendant is guilty, then the defandant will face a judgement hearing where the defandant will learn his fate as decided by the judge.
During Jury selection, the first set of 10 jurors will be collected. The Prosecutor, and Defender will decide which jurors are allowed, and which are not. Each lawyer will have to have a reason of why the juror will not be a good one for this case. The lawyer can ask each juror 5 questions to decide if they are a fit for the hearing. Once the jury has been selected, the judge seeing the case will set a court date, and the process will begin.
