For those that committed a crime while mentally unwell, they will be incarcerated in an asylum. Each inmate will have their own cell which will have a toilet, sink, and a shower stall. The shower stall will have a partial wall to where an officer can look in, and make sure the inmate is OK. While in asylum, the inmate will be required to go to a group therapy, and individual therapy for their mental health issues. There will be a day room where behaved inmates can choose to go to during the day. There will be a television, game tables, and other activities that might help in the rehabilitation of the inmate.
There will be 5 asylums with one in each region of the nation. For the safety of inmates, each inmate will have their own cell. Depending on the threat level of the inmate will depend if they go to the asylum’s cafeteria, or eat their meals on the unit. Each unit will specialize in a particular disorder. For example, a sociopath will be in their own unit where the staff are specialized to address the issue at hand. They can have visitors, but the visitor must be on an allowed list which is dependent on the psychiatric doctor to decide who goes on the list. The inmate will also have access to email? to allow for communications. Since everyone living in Kaldus will have an NIN, their free email address will be NIN@mail.ka. Any email coming in or going out will be monitored by artificial intelligence, and reviewed by a live person when something not right if flagged.
