Criminal courts are handled by a judge, and a jury of 10 peers. There is a prosecutor which serves the nation, and pursues criminals with the law at hand. There is a Defender which will defend the defendant. The defandant will either be on house arrest, or in jail while the trial is going on. Whether the defandant is in jail or not depends on the bond judge which will be seen within 48 hours of being arrested by a law enforcement officer. There are 3 levels of courts. There is the District Court which is the first court that the defandant enters. Then there is the appellate court which is decided to be heard by the judge after reviewing the case for anything that should not have been the case. The Supreme Court is only on a national level, and will likely not hear cases, but will review how laws are being made, and will decide if they wish to hear a case or not. Both the appellate court and Supreme Court will decide if they hear the case or not.
